Located on royal lands, just a few steps from the Place d’Armes and the Château’s main entrance, Hôtel Le Louis – discreet, luminous, timeless – offers guests a rare and privileged experience. In 1661, Louis XIV tasked André Le Nôtre with designing and developing the Gardens of Versailles, which he felt were as important as the palace itself. The Park extends naturally beyond the formal gardens and includes the Grand Canal and the Lake of the Swiss Guards, two vast bodies of water.
For our Memorable Moment, you depart from Porte Saint-Antoine on horseback to discover the jewel that is the Royal Estate of Versailles. Equestrians of all levels will spend two hours in this magical setting, roaming the Park’s many lanes and alleyways. The distance covered will depend on your experience level and the gait – walk, trot, gallop – you choose to take. After you dismount, a surprise with sparkling bubbles awaits to prolong the pleasure of this moment and to celebrate the splendor of the Royal Court.
